The living room with its typical French fireplace, TV with UK freeview channels, DVD player and comfortable seating is a great place to sit and unwind after an active day, or if you've just had enough of sunshine and the outdoors!
In the winter months you can light the open fire and read or watch tv. Some wood is available in the house wood cellar, although all rooms also have electric radiators.
Dining room
The dining area adjacent to the living room boasts a solid dining table which seats 8 as an alternative to 'al fresco' dining. For larger parties, an additional drop leaf table can be pulled out so that everyone can eat together.
A piano is adjacent to the dining area.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fitted with electric oven, gas hob, a 1.5 bowl sink , microwave, dishwasher and a two fridges (additional fridge freezer is downstairs in the utility room if you need extra storage). A breakfast bar with a couple of bar stools make this a sociable area, where people can have a glass of wine and chat whilst the cooking is going on!
In case needed for our younger guests, there is a high chair.
There is even a number of cook books including French country recipes in the library, for those who want to try their hand at some regional specialities!
